A heated neighbourhood dispute in Georgia has spiraled into a public controversy after a healthcare entrepreneur was fired for defending his wife’s racist tirade against their neighbor, whose daughter was killed while serving in Israel.
Mark Bouyzk, co-founder of AI-powered healthcare startup AllaiHealth, was terminated after video footage showed him backing his wife, Anna, during a verbal assault on their Jewish neighbor, David Lubin.
The company announced his dismissal in a LinkedIn statement, calling the conduct “reprehensible” and “completely inconsistent with our values.”
The confrontation erupted after Lubin placed memorial posters for his daughter, Rose, opposite the Bouyzks’ pro-Palestinian signs.
Rose Lubin, a 20-year-old Israeli border police sergeant, was fatally stabbed in Jerusalem in November 2023, a month after the Israel-Hamas war began, New York Post reported.
Anna was captured hurling racist slurs at Lubin, claiming Rose “deserved to die” and suggesting she was killed by Israeli forces in “friendly fire.” Mark stood by his wife, saying Rose’s death was justified because “she was fighting.”
Lubin, who filmed the encounter shared the ordeal on Instagram. He said he never objected to his neighbors’ political signs until the verbal attack turned personal. “This was the first real confrontation,” he said, adding that Anna later phoned him to accuse him of being responsible for his daughter’s death.
Mark, who previously co-founded the biotech firm AKESOgen before launching AllaiHealth, faced swift professional fallout after the footage went viral.
