NEW DELHI: Cricket enthusiasts heading to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday evening for the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) should brace for heavy traffic congestion and possible delays.
The match, scheduled to begin at 7.30pm, is expected to draw a significant crowd, and traffic authorities have announced restrictions and diversions around the venue to ensure public convenience and security.
Although no specific advisory has been issued yet for the day, commuters are strongly urged to plan their routes in advance.

Only vehicles displaying a valid parking label (with vehicle number and driver's mobile number) on the windscreen will be permitted near the stadium.
Labeled parking locations:
Entry to these labeled parking areas is permitted only via Vikram Nagar Cut on BSZ Marg near Shahidi Park.
General vehicle parking will not be permitted on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg, and the Ring Road stretch from Rajghat to I.P. Flyover (both sides) on match day.
Vehicles parked illegally in these no-parking zones will be towed away and prosecuted as per law.
Park-and-ride facilities are also available for spectators and unlabeled vehicles at Mata Sundari Parking, Shanti Van Parking, Rajghat Service Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Velodrome Road (near IG Stadium).
Spectators using app-based taxis are advised to use the service lane on Ring Road between I.P. Flyover and Rajghat Crossing for pick-up and drop-off.
