WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Wednesday.
Wednesday on Netflix fans were left doing a double take as they recognised the mysterious Willow Hill woman in the series two midseason finale.
In the gripping episode, Wednesday Addams, portrayed by Jenna Ortega, discovered that Willow Hill's executive assistant Judi (Heather Matarazzo) had been capturing outcasts for years to extract their powers.
Wednesday managed to liberate all of them, including a frightened woman who required some persuasion from the morose teenager before making her escape.
Subscribers didn't get a clear look at the woman until the second batch of episodes, with many now recognising why the actress seemed so familiar.
The enigmatic woman from Willow Hill is none other than actress Frances O'Connor, renowned for her role as Rose Selfridge in ITV's hit period drama Mr Selfridge.

The four-season drama, which premiered in 2013, narrated the real-life story of American entrepreneur Harry Gordon Selfridge (Jeremy Piven) who relocated to London with his wife Rose, their children and mother-in-law to establish the iconic Selfridges department store.
Aside from the ITV series, the British-Australian actress has had roles in The Missing, Once Upon A Time, Cleverman, Troy: Fall of a City and The Twelve.
However, it becomes apparent in the second half of Wednesday season two that there is much more to the unknown woman's backstory than initially revealed.
In a shocking twist, it is revealed that Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is actually Francoise Galpin, the mother of Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), who was believed to have died years ago.
In reality, she had been captured by Augustus Stonehurst (Phillip Philmar) for his experiments.
Adding intrigue to her return is the revelation that Francoise, like her son, is a Hyde, revealing her true identity just as Tyler in Hyde form is about to attack Wednesday.
With Tyler now reunited with Francoise, what implications will this have for his future in the Addams Family spin-off?
Wednesday is available to watch on Netflix.
