JD Vance's controversial visit to the Cotswolds has been met with backlash from Jeremy Clarkson, yet again, after the former Top Gear presenter's day was interrupted by the US Vice President's 'circus'. The politician's visit to the UK has caused a stir among locals as Vance and his family are staying at the 18th-century Dean Manor in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, and as a result, a no-fly zone has been set up around the Cotswolds.
The Clarkson's Farm star revealed he was caught up in the restricted area while attempting to collect footage for his hit Prime Video reality series. Jeremy revealed that his drone was intercepted by members of Vance's security team, and in true Clarkson fashion, the 65-year-old delivered a scathing rant.
Jeremy had been using the drone to film the latest series of Clarkson's Farm, with the camera which is among the many gadgets he uses to shoot certain scenes.
As he explained in The Times, Clarkson was approached by a member of Vance's security team who asked him: "Is that your drone?"
When he responded in the affirmative, the TV presenter-turned-farmer was reportedly told: "You aren't allowed to fly that today."
Clarkson claims that he then told the officer to "f**** off," to which the security official simply responded: "OK."
This came just days after Clarkson previously took to Instagram, to share a photo of Vance's no fly zone, which was a huge red circle on the map.
Taking to the caption, the TV star wrote: "The JD Vance no-fly zone. We are the pin. So on the downside, no drone shots today. On the upside, no annoying light aircraft."
Clarkson's pin revealed his Diddly Squat Farm location on the outskirts of the red circle.
According to an anonymous source via theMailOnline: "Dean Manor is as close as possible to Mr Clarkson's farm house as can be. I'm willing to bet Clarkson can see it out of his bedroom window."
JD Vance's visit also disrupted farm manager Kaleb Cooper's daily routine, who commented on Clarkson's post and detailed: "My wheat got wet in the trailer last night as the convo stopped me in the rain in [Chipping Norton].
"I could have easily went on my way and got it in the shed without getting in the way. He he just drove around in a vw polo nobody would know who he was." (sic)
