Strictly fans who tuned into the latest episode of the spin-off show, It Takes Two, have issued the same demand. BBC viewers took to social media and pleaded with show bosses claiming they want to see Neil Jones as a judge on the long-running programme in a major show shake up. The professional dancer, who does not have a celebrity partner this series, appeared on the spin-off show to talk through different routines from last weekend. Some fans watching at home were impressed by his knowledge and took to social media to have their say. One person said: "Actually think Neil would make a really good judge, he's shown he has the experience and knowledge. Make Anton the host, pop Neil on the panel #ItTakesTwo."
Another also said: "@bbcstrictly.. loving Neil Jones on it Takes two! A great analysis! He knows his stuff!!!" Neil initially joined the show in 2016 and got his first celebrity partner in 2019 when he danced with Alex Scott.
Elsewhere in the show, Neil and the rest of the team celebrated Fleur's birthday with a surprise, including some cake.
Amber and Nikita sat down to speak with Fleur, and for Halloween Week, they will be dancing a Viennese Waltz to "I See Red" from Everybody Loves an Outlaw.
Last weekend, Amber had a nasty shock when she found herself in the bottom two alongside Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. Despite feeling relieved to live another week in the BBC's Latin and Ballroom dance competition, Amber shared her true feelings following Jimmy's exit during Sunday night's results show on Instagram - saying she felt like "absolute garbage".
However, she said on It Takes Two that she feels more "positive" now, a few days after the dance off. She also begged viewers at home to "vote for us."
On Sunday, Amber wrote: "A gut wrenching evening in the dance off, especially dancing against two of the most amazing people I've met on this experience, @official_jfhasselbaink and @laurenmayoakley - I feel extremely lucky and thankful to be able to experience Halloween week on strictly, but there will be two very special people missed.
"If you voted for us really really thank you, I guess this week we aim for a come back week?! @nikita__kuzmin thank you for holding my extremely shaky hands extra tight (sic)."
Strictly Come Dancing returned on Saturday November 1st on BBC One and iPlayer.
