Leo JonesLeo Jones, the ever-composed supervisor who helped steer many crises at the airport, was a fan favourite for his calm professionalism.
He stayed with easyJet long after the cameras stopped rolling, eventually becoming a regional manager before leaving the airline in 2018.
However, Leo’s life took a troubling turn in recent years. In 2022, he was given a five-year restraining order and a suspended prison sentence after being convicted of stalking GB News presenter Ellie Costello.
Their contact began during a live interview in 2021, but turned into a disturbing campaign of harassment. Now, in a very different chapter, Leo has reinvented himself once more - this time as a fitness instructor.
Jane Boulton
Jane Boulton, known for her no-nonsense handling of irate passengers, brought both compassion and steel to the check-in desk. She worked at several airports, including Luton and Gatwick, before leaving the travel industry in 2014.
Now 54, Jane lives in South London, where she runs her own company, Party Paradise UK, which provides kids’ party entertainment and custom cakes. She’s married with three children and goes by Mrs Lee.
Despite the fame Airline brought her, Jane recently revealed she didn't earn a penny from the show. Speaking on a podcast in late 2024, she said: “Before the series happened, we all signed disclaimers… Very bitter - if it happened now, we’d all be bloody millionaires.”
Jane still keeps in touch with fellow stars Leo and Katrina, and says she’s regularly recognised by fans thanks to TikTok reviving the show's most famous clips.
Speaking to the Mirror, she said: "When the show first came out, I thought: 'They've made me look really awful and I'm not like that' but people were loving it. When you're working in customer service,e you cannot be sympathetic
"As far I was concerned, my staff were more than capable of doing a brilliant job and they didn't need someone to come in and take over. When I was an agent I used to find that quite demeaning so I used to try and hold back as much as possible.
"By the time I was called in they'd been told the same thing a few times and it did bug me and that's probably why I walked down like a stroppy old mare."
Katrina LeederKatrina Leeder was the friendly face who greeted hundreds of passengers each week. Her practical attitude and warm personality made her a fan favourite, and she’s continued to use her experience in the travel industry.
As of 2025, Katrina is a presenter on Travel Radio, sharing insights and advice for globetrotters. But behind the mic, she’s been facing personal challenges after revealing she's currently undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer - her eighth cancer diagnosis to date.
In a bittersweet turn of events, she married long-term partner Simon Drew in January 2024, just days after he underwent chemotherapy. Simon is also battling cancer, and his condition is incurable.
Still, Katrina remains determined and optimistic, writing on Instagram after the wedding: “We will keep each other strong forever.”
Though the final episode of Airline aired almost twenty years ago, the show’s stars continue to go viral thanks to social media, and fans are desperate for a reboot.
