King Charles is set to star in a brand new documentary on Prime Video in 2026, which depicts the King’s lifelong commitment to the philosophy of ‘Harmony’ and the planet. It follows after Prince William received praise for his own TV feature after he joined Eugene Levy for a special episode of his Apple TV documentary The Reluctant Traveller.
King Charles has revealed his ‘fondest hope’ is that the new documentary will inspire people to protect our planet and create a more sustainable future. The film will dive into the charity The King’s Foundation, which wasfounded by King Charles in 1990 when he was the Prince of Wales. The charity celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, and the documentary, reportedly titled Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, will explore the origins and evolution of The King's ‘Harmony’ philosophy.
Following the announcement of the film, King Charles said he has spent much of his life seeking to promote and encourage ways that people can work with the environment and ‘restore balance’, emphasising that the planet is ‘under such stress’.

His Majesty King Charles III said: “Nature is our sustainer, we are a part of nature. Therefore, what we do to her, we do to ourselves. For much of my life, I have sought to promote and encourage ways we can work with, rather than against, nature. In other words, to restore balance to our planet, which is under such stress.”
Adding: “This film will, I hope, demonstrate just some of the remarkable work being done around the world to put Harmony into practice, from the forests of Guyana to sustainable communities in India–and, closer to home, through the work of my King’s Foundation at Dumfries House and Highgrove. Never has it been more important for the world to make a concerted effort to protect and prioritise our planet, and to restore our relationship with it.
“It is therefore my fondest hope that this film may encourage a new audience to learn about the philosophy of Harmony - and perhaps inspire the same sense of determination it has given me to help build a more sustainable future.”
Nicolas Brown, director of the new film added: “Working on this film we became aware of how important this story is. Remarkably few people around the world know the full depth of The King’s lifelong battle to bring nature and humanity into harmony. Even today, His Majesty’s work with The King’s Foundation is transforming the world in so many inspiring ways.
“This is a story of hope and resilience. People who watch this film will leave feeling uplifted and motivated. The King’s philosophy offers something for everyone. Mostly, he shows us the power of resilience - and how following your intuition can transform the world.”
It follows after The Prince of Wales made his own TV appearance on the third season of Eugene Levy's Apple TV+ show, The Reluctant Traveler. William candidly discussed on the TV show how the family have been "lucky" that his grandparents lived so long, and when his father and wife both got a cancer diagnosis, it felt like the "rug was pulled from under his feet". He admitted the experience had taken him to some 'not great places.'
During his chat with Eugene, William admitted that it had been a hard year for their three children - George, Charlotte and Louis - after Kate's cancer diagnosis but that they were "constantly learning and adapting".
The show was well received by fans as one fan wrote on X: "The Reluctant Traveler episode with Prince William is one of the best pieces of television I have seen this year. Could have been a PR exercise but instead - with compassionate questioning from Eugene Levy - William bares his soul."
Another added: "Just finished watching the Reluctant Traveler for the 4th time. Prince William truly is an amazing man. The late Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana are very much present and mentioned. He is truly his mother's son. Not going to lie. I cried! It was so lovely".
