The MIDC police arrested a Ghanaian national and seized 287.80 grams of cocaine worth Rs1.15 crore in Marol, Andheri East, on Monday. The accused has been identified as 34-year-old Henry Almoh, who was allegedly in possession of the cocaine to sell it.

In addition to the cocaine, the police also seized expensive mobile phones and cash from him. According to the police, the accused had been living in Mumbai for the past few months and is suspected of selling cocaine both locally and in high-end party circles.
Police Action Based on Tip-Off
Acting on a tip-off, the MIDC police laid a trap in the Marol Vijayanagar area. They had information that the accused would regularly deal drugs at a specific time and place. Based on this, the police conducted a raid and caught him red-handed, recovering a large quantity of cocaine from his possession.

Although Almoh denied bringing the cocaine from Ghana during the initial investigation, the police suspect his involvement in a large international drug trafficking racket.
Ongoing Investigation and Coordination
The police are interrogating him further to identify others in Mumbai connected to the drug trade, his local contacts, and the intended customers. The investigation is being carried out in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) to trace the source of the drugs.
