Actor Shoaib Ibrahim shared an emotional video on YouTube to reveal that his wife, actress Dipika Kakar, has been diagnosed with a tumour in stomach. He also said that Dipika will undergo a major surgery at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.
In his vlog, Shoaib said that Dipika was admitted to a hospital a few days back after complaining of stomach ache. He stated that doctor had prescribed antibiotics to her, however, after a few days of relief, Dipika again suffered pain and underwent tests. It was then that a tumour was detected and the actress was advised to immediately undergo a surgery.
Sharing her health update, Shoaib revealed that Dipika has been discharged for a day before undergoing surgery.
"Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us," Shoiab said in the video.
"We have to do a few more tests, but she will definitely undergo a surgery. Doctors have said that the tumour needs to be removed from the body," he said.
Shoaib also said they are stressed about how they will take care of their two-year-old son Ruhaan as Dipika still breastfeeds him. "Since the time Ruhaan is born, he has not been away from Dipika even for more than two hours. We don't know what the situation will be and it is not clear if he will be allowed to meet Dipika immediately after the surgery," the actor said.

Dipika and Shoaib are one of the most famous television couples. They starred together in the show Sasural Simar Ka, and got married in 2018.
In 2023, the couple was blessed with a baby boy whom they named Ruhaan. Their vlogs on YouTube are famous among their fans.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dipika was recently seen in Celebrity MasterChef, but she left the cooking reality show midway as she couldn't continue due to health issues. Meanwhile, Shoaib was last seen in Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 11.
