PVR INOX, India’s largest and most premium cinema exhibitor, has formed a unique collaboration with Hombale Films. This Independence Day, PVR INOX is integrating the iconic fire elements of the film Kantara, produced by Hombale Films, into its logo. This is an attempt to create a prelude to one of the year’s most awaited releases, Kantara: Chapter 1, hitting cinemas on October 2.
Gautam Dutta, CEO – Revenue & Operations, PVR INOX Ltd., said, “Cinema is more than just entertainment — it is an emotion that unites a nation. At PVR INOX, we constantly strive to create larger-than-life experiences that go beyond the screen. By infusing the elemental energy of Kantara into our iconic logo, we are honouring India’s rich cultural narratives while setting new benchmarks for how films are celebrated. This is not just a logo change; it’s an invitation for audiences to step into an unforgettable world of storytelling.”
From today, audiences watching Coolie and War 2 will witness PVR INOX’s signature logo transformed into a high-fidelity fire-themed animation across all cinemas. Enabled by advanced on-screen projection systems and state-of-the-art digital mastering, this visual reimagining evokes the raw power and cultural depth of Kantara while showcasing how cutting-edge cinema technology can turn even a brand identity into an immersive storytelling canvas.
The logo will appear on the big screen across all PVR INOX theatres, thrilling audiences ahead of one of the biggest cinematic events of the year and setting the stage for what’s to come.
Vijay Kiragandur, Producer & Founder, Hombale Films, added, “We are honoured that India’s largest multiplex chain, which has the biggest audience interface across the globe, has decided to celebrate Kantara in this unique manner. It is indeed a special idea that is nothing less than a celebration of India’s rich culture, especially on this Independence Day. It is a matter of great pride when you can celebrate stories you truly believe in with partners as big as PVR INOX. With this, the world will embrace storytelling that is deeply rooted in our culture.”
PVR INOX and Hombale Films will continue to roll out thematic innovations in the weeks ahead, building excitement and transporting moviegoers into the world of Kantara before its grand release.
