NEET UG 2025: There is a big update for the candidates going to appear for NEET UG 2025 exam. Now admission in physiotherapy course will also be done on the basis of NEET UG score. Also, this course will be of five years. This information has been given by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare by issuing a notification. It has been said that physiotherapists can put doctor in front of their names.

According to the new guidelines, physiotherapy students will now have to do one year internship after completion of the course like MBBS. This guideline has been issued by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professionals (NCAHP).

New syllabus launched

Along with the new guidelines of the physiotherapy course, its revised syllabus has also been released. It has been developed by seven allied healthcare professions. These professions are Physiotherapy, Optometry, Dialysis Treatment, Health Information Management, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Radiotherapy Technology and Operation Theatre Technology.

Who can graduate in Physiotherapy?

To do graduation in Physiotherapy course, one must have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 50% marks are required in the 12th class.
