A fresh update has emerged about Alejandro Garnacho's future amid recent links of a potential transfer to .
The do not have long to wait before the summer transfer window opens and they are able to bring in reinforcements to their squad. side will face Southampton in their final match of the season, after which the attention will turn firmly towards the transfer business this summer.
Reports this week have claimed that Arsenal could be in the running to sign Garnacho from Manchester United this summer. have also previously been linked with signing the Argentina international, who has been mentioned as a potential target for Napoli in the past.

reported on Friday that Garnacho has been told that he can leave Man United during the summer transfer window, provided the club receive a suitable offer. It's possible, therefore, that United's clash against Aston Villa on Sunday is Garnacho's final match for the Red Devils amid the rumoured interest from Arsenal.
Ahead of the game, Garnacho's partner, Eva Garcia, posted a photo on her Instagram story which offers a hint about the United star's future.
The post featured a photo of a United home kit for Garnacho and Garcia's child, which is accompanied by the caption, "last match", followed by a teary-face emoji and a heart emoji.
It remains to be seen whether the 'last match' refers to Garnacho's final outing as a United player or just the final fixture of the Premier League season.
There is also no word yet on whether or not Arsenal have a genuine interest in signing Garnacho when the summer transfer window opens.
If the Gunners are in the running for his signature, with reports suggesting United are expected to demand a fee in excess of £40 million.
Garnacho fuelled talk of an exit from United this summer when, speaking after the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur which he started on the bench, : "Up until the final I played every round helping the team and today I play 20 minutes, I don't know.
"The final will influence (my decision) but the whole season, the situation of the club. "I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens afterwards."
United head coach Ruben Amorim, meanwhile addressed Garnacho's situation on Saturday. "I always speak to my players, but the focus now is on the last game," he said. "I don't know what is going to happen.
"We have a plan and we prepared for both situations, with Champions League and without. "We have an idea what type of squad we want, but now we have to focus on the last game and we will have time address all of those situations."
